Transitional Protection

There are changes to the Teachers’ Pension Scheme which are needed in relation to members who are impacted by the Transitional Protection remedy.

As these changes won’t impact all members and not all periods of service, it’s important for members to understand if the changes will affect them and how they’ll be contacted.

We’ve created a series of resources to help members understand if they’re affected by the changes including our decision tree and our ‘Am I affected?’ video. You should also recommend members go into their My Pension Online account and click on the ‘Am I affected’ banner.
