Updating member information

We’ve recently had an increase of calls from you asking how to update member My Pension Online (MPO) login details. We’d like to remind you that you can’t update a member’s MPO login email address once it’s been set. The member needs to log into their account and update it themselves. 

If they can’t remember what email address they used to set up their MPO account, they can use the login reminder process on our website. If they no longer have access to the email they used to set up their account, they’ll need to contact us in writing to change it at.

They’ll need to explain that they want to change their email address on their account, and include the following information in order to pass security:

• Full name
• Date of birth
• National Insurance number
• Teachers' Pensions reference number.

If you have staff that haven’t yet signed up for MPO, please ask them to use a personal email address when creating their account. if they use a work email they may not have access to this if they leave your establishment.
